When I tend to the outdoor plants (as I kill all indoor plants...I seem to have a black thumb...LOL), it's spiritual for me. Being outdoors is spiritual. Walking in the woods is spiritual. I haven't gotten out much this summer (3 family deaths in 3 months, 1 death of a former beloved teacher, plus I've been feeling cruddy), but plan to start as of next weekend. :) I'll also be starting volunteering at Westfield Heritage Village, which will give me much more time outdoors. :D So true!
