What is Hedgecraft?
… or What the Heck is a Hedgewitch Anyways?
Hedgewitchery, or Hedgecraft, is a kind of combination of Witchcraft and Shamanism. With herbalism, healing, and a deep love for, and understanding of, nature added to the mix. About Me
My name is Juniper, I hail from Greenwood, British Columbia
I was born May 31st 1980, just a day before the full Moon, a week or so after Mount St.Helens blew up.
I have curly hair (usually red), brown eyes, and can barley reach the top of my refrigerator.
I grew up all over the greater Vancouver area and the Okanagan of British Columbia.
I run a small homestead and kennel where I rescue dogs and horses, called Misty Acres.
My Dad made sure I grew up with a love for the outdoors and my Mom made sure I loved animals. I’m an avid reader and I have a thing for museums.
I grew up around dogs, as my mother had bred, raised, trained, rescued and shown dogs most of my life. My own favorite breed is Beagles (one the smallest of the Hounds)
I love herbalism and am saving up the tuition for my Certified Herbalist course. I also enjoy all manner of arts and crafts and am pretty decent at beading and jewellery design. I make great cloaks and tunics too, and I am working on improving my sewing skills.
I started to… Continue reading
